Best Western Plus Airport Hotel

We booked this hotel as we needed to spend one night in Copenhagen as that was layover on our way to Japan. The hotel is very close to the airport which was a huge plus - only one metro stop. Several convenience stops nearby, some restaurants, the nearby metro stop is not that far away and travelling to the centre to the city does not take long. Room was spacious and clean though the furniture was on little on the older side. Appreciated the kettle and the teas and coffee as we were prepared for warm weather in Japan and we were not prepared for the cold in Copenhagen:) The ladies at the reception were very kind and helpful. Though we arrived before the check in time, the rooms were already prepared and we could leave the suitcases there and go and explore the city.

Front staff is outstanding. Johan, and the tall, reddish-bearded younger man (~25-yrs old) were SUPER helpful and easy to talk to. Breakfast and breakfast staff, were also outstanding: superior variety, high-quality of food, and layout/flow were easy to understand. The airport was ~ 1.2 kilometers away, but within reasonable walking distance for me.

Overall just fine. Staff both at checkin and out were doing a good job. All ok in the room but I was surprised to find no anglo TV channels. Not that I need them but it was a minor surprise.

The location is perfect for those who have early departure or late arrival, we were able to walk to the airport at 5 a.m., when we had an early flight and didn't have to sort the transport. As for getting to the city center, there is a metro station behind the corner from the hotel, so it was quite straight forward as well. The room has basic minimum what's needed for the stat, there is a deposit box (safe) in the room, although it's too small for a tablet, not even mentioning a laptop. The staff was very polite and all interaction with them went flawless. Although it's not mentioned in the description, the hotel has 24/7 reception with somebody available there all the time. The breakfast was good, had a wide variety of choices.

Great hotel near the airport at a really good price point compared to other hotels near the airport. Also within walking distance from the airport so not necessary to take a taxi unless you want to (exit the airport at the departures entrance and cross the road, up and over the overpass and it's a straight walk to the hotel along a nice residential street). All of the staff were really friendly with reception being very helpful. A special shout out for the breakfast waiting and catering staff as it was a fab breakfast and the waiting staff kept everything spick and span and made sure there were kept topped up (unlike a whole lot of other hotels I have stayed in!)
